Yes he feels safe and is able to be himself. He could say the same as to where he used to live. Now maybe I shouldn't have generalized and said the NE, because to be honest I am not sure if he would say the whole NE, or just the one area he lived in. When he talks about his life there, he has only really mentioned that one area.

But the whole point of this thread is the girl should not have been discriminated against due to her preference no matter what. It is such a shame that this has happened to her.
