Oh, my gosh... I was just going over our monthly calandar with my DH last night, and realized that I booked our impromptu trip to WDW for Easter weekend. My weekends were limited, as my DH is staying home with my other DS. This is just a Mommy/B long weekend. When I was booking, Easter in March just didn't click!!

How big a deal is this? Does it make the resort and parks just even more hideously mobbed? Do they do anything special for Easter? I can't believe my DS will miss our neighborhood Easter egg hunt!!!

My DH says it is no big deal to him. He'll go visit his mom. I'm a little worried about extra lines.... what are your thoughts? I thought I was such a good planner!!!!

On another note, we are staying at the swan but don't have our tix to the parks yet. What is my best place to get them????

You will be going over what is the second busiest time from the whole year. Usually only Christmas beats out Easter in crowd levels. The bottom line is it will be a mob scene for the most part. I know it's not what you wanted to hear. If you plan out really, really well it won't be so bad. However, no matter which way you look at it when it gets that crowded it's difficult to get as much done. Many times, even w/ great planning, guests come away feeling like they barely got to do anything. Because lines are so long and it takes so much extra time to get anywhere. Also, plan PS's as sit down dining can be almost impossible to come by.

My suggestion to you would be to subscribe to TourGuideMiKE.com. He will tell you which parks will be busiest on which days. We used his advise over Christmas and never waited in line more than 10 minutes anywhere. One morning we did 10 rides/shows + lunch between 9:00 and 1:30 at the MK. It was so worth the money.

We are staying at the Dolphin easter weekend. The parks will be very crowded. We plan on staying at the resort Easter Sunday. The Dolphin had some Easter Activities planned that I'm happy with. I would stay away from MK. I may venture off into Epcot, but I think they will be busy also if they are having a Easter Egg hunt like last year.
I also feel bad about missing our neighborhood egg hunt. It's on the beach, they bring the Easter bunny and there are more than enough eggs for everyone, but thats the only time we could break away.
