OOP Dining ?

DS6 and I will be visiting over spring break in a few weeks (56 days!!!) and I have a question...

We will be on the dining plan, but DS wants to see Remy, so I thought we would go in for an early lunch or snack that day. Would it be terribly rude for me to order his kids meal, but just get an appetizer or salad, and then dessert for myself? I would still tip graciously (as long as the service was good), as I don't want to ding the server for taking up a table. Just didn't want to get in there & have an issue.

Shouldn't be a problem as they shouldn't care what you order.

But if you're going just to see Remy, be aware that he doesn't appear on Sundays at all, and that sometimes he does break down and doesn't appear when he is supposed to.

People do this all the time at WDW. A light lunch in Florida heat is not uncommon. Hope y'all have fun!
