I was at lunch with a co-worker and she was telling me all about what a rotten week (bunch of little stuff going wrong) she had and how she was glad to have the weekend upon us. I excused myself for a moment to get a napkin. When I returned to the table I tipped my drink over and it all spilled into her open purse that was sitting on the floor!

Fortunatley for me she just went like this :rotfl: She was still laughing when we parted after lunch.

 I am glad she was able to laugh about it.

you sure know how to make someone's day, eh? ;) :p :jester:

You KNOW this incident is going to be added when she tells the NEXT person about her annoyances this week!! :teeth: :hyper:

I think it's great she could laugh about it - that would have been my reaction also. Life's too short to get wound up over the little things! :p

oh no!! it's a good job your friend was good humored about it!! ::yes::

Seems like a perfect ending to a horrid week. It could have been worse ... she could have taken it really badly.

She's having dinner with another friend of ours this evening. We'll see how the story gets told!

You know, there comes a point, when I'm having that kind of a week, that the next little, itsy bitsy, tiny thing that can go wrong, does, and it sends me into hysterical fits of laughter. It sounds like your friend reached that point! :p Glad all is fine with her purse and your relationship! ;)

Hahaha! I have a "drinking problem" because I talk with my hands and I can't tell you how many times I have swept drinks off the table in restaurants. Ruined a coupleof nice tablecloths at home, too.
