Oogie Boogie Bash Halloween 2023 Super Thread

I wasn't able to get tickets either, so frustrating! I'm still only halfway through the dreaded green bar :( If you are staying onsite you might not be completely out of luck. Last year, and we did it one other year as well, we were able to go down to the lobby (I think it was at 5am) and purchase tickets for the party being held that day. I was told by everyone that I spoke to at The Grand that they didn't have tickets held for hotel guests and I even asked at check in and was told no. We still went down in the morning and sure enough we were the second group in line. Last year we did it for two Oogie Boogie parties that were held during our dates.
i hope they have same day sales for hotel guests. we have also done that in the past, but the Grand said that as of now no sales at the hotel.

What the f@ck is the point of a system if it's just f@cking broken.

Btw. I'm trying to get a whopping TWO PEOPLE for 9/14. Haven't seen it sold out mentioned anywhere.

Totally pissed that this entire thing has taken HOURS out of my life and time wasted over WEEKS of waiting.
Only for this sh!tty f@cking outcome.

I don't know what to do, apparently there's nothing i can do.
This system is so broken. I hate this sh!t.
While I couldn't agree more with how incompetent Disney is at selling tix... Technically 14th is still not showing as sold out.

Not sure if this is the better place to ask this question, but I see lots of understandable fury about reselling tickets.
But is there a best practice for reselling AT FACE VALUE for folks who find themselves with extra tickets? since Disney won't process returns.
We've been trying to plan a Disney trip for 8 extended family members. There was miscommunication and panicked purchases once we got through the queue, so we now find ourselves with 6 extra tickets on 9/12 and 2 extra on 10/12.
That's A LOT of money for tickets we can't use since none of us live close to Disney.
Figuring out how to resell tickets is not something I want to do, but again, that's so so much money to lose. We don't want to upsell, just recoup the cost of the tickets.
Has anyone successfully done this? Advice? Recommendations? Redirects to a more proper place to ask this question?
Thank you!
You aren't allowed to sell them, but you can give them to friends. ;)
Also this post will be deleted for talking about something that is not allowed.

Reading this gives me hope I will be able to get tickets. I am waiting and my line has been stuck at "more than an hour" and the meter hasn't budged. Ugh.

I've been on since 8:50am pacific time and still have "over one hour" and looking for 2 tickets to 9/12....if you really are needing to get rid of them. We went for the first time last year but had to buy on stub hub due to sell out.
Be careful with the 3rd parties, if Disney caught wind of it at any time they could (and have) made those tickets invalid.

It also won’t let me add any tickets for that date so I think it’s safe to confirm it’s all sold out.
