I also wonder if it might have something to do with promotion, too. Like, I don't know if there was common awareness that ticket sales opened today.Could this also be the economy in general? This forum isn't going to be a great representation of the general economy; everyone here is hardcore Disney fans and either already had strong incomes (people doing multiple trips a year, annual trips, etc), or cut away everything else so the Disney budget remains.
We're there the same week - I grabbed Thur the 29th. I was so nervous watching the countdown I was shaking! LOLAlmost fainted when I saw I had a 6 min wait
Able to grab 8/25 & 8/27. So excited
Good luck to those waiting. Now I can retrieve family from old key west pool & hit up mgm!
Thanks for all the fish
Unless TikTok and Instagram and stuff has been suppressing the Disney vloggers, I can't imagine people weren't super aware of this... and likely "scared" from yesterday's sales.I also wonder if it might have something to do with promotion, too. Like, I don't know if there was common awareness that ticket sales opened today.
Just as a goof, I re-entered the queue a couple minutes ago, and it's already at 49 minutes. It doesn't seem like the normal OBB sale by any stretch.
Email comes out tomorrow "Sorry! We forgot to put a limit on the party tickets... we'll be randomly voiding and refunding 75% of them"Wow! Lots of success stories!
So great to see!
Also amazing to see the community vibe helping each other score tickets!
...and yet, tickets in hand, cynicism grows louder... are the parties less desired... or OVER-sold...?
My family will find out October 13th...
