Hi guys
In a mad moment about 2 days ago (inspired finding some great value flights from the UK) my DH and I have decided to bring forward our much anticipated 2nd WDW trip from our 2nd anniversary in september to my 40th (coughs to cover the age) birthday on 31st May next year - which we just found out happens to be slap bang at the beginning of Gaydays 2011.

We were already incredibly excited about the trip and have booked 9 nights at OKW 1 bdr to end on the 2nd June (so we get free dining) but are thinking of extending to cover Gaydays but cant afford to book OKW for the extended bit. we have never been to anything remotely like GayDays before so would really make the holiday for us but i guess we are looking to squeeze as much as we can out of the trip across the pond!! You guys were real sources of inspiration to us when we were planning our honeymoon so Im hoping you can help again.
I guess my question is would we miss much by being offsite - and if so where would you suggest would be the better location - Idrive or closer to WDW - we wouldnt at this stage be hiring a car but may consider it. looking at prices for some of the more budget solutions - we could even tack on an extra week offsite to take in other sites (universal etc) for the cost of a few extra days onsite.
your advise really appreciated.
