Onsite Hotel & Priceline or Hotwire

Has anyone ever gotten one of the Loews Hotels at Universal Studios from a site such as Priceline or Hotwire? Did you still get the FOTL with it? (Oh.. what price?)

I will be going about the second week of December, do I need FOTL?

If you stay at the loews hotels at US, you will always receive the FOTL as it is your room key.
