Last year when I was looking at staying at Universal they were offering early entry to a "select" park each morning. Do they still offer that and how exactly does that work? Does it rotate every other day so you would be able to get into the HP area of each park with just two days (mornings)?

I was thinking of staying three nights: probably wouldn't do much on arrival day, a little park touring, maybe BMG in the evening, then spend the next two days at US and IOA, and checking out on the last day and going to LEGOLAND (and Hotel) for one more night.

Also thinking about staying Concierge lever at RPR. We did this @ PBR a few years ago and it was great. I was wondering how concierge at RPR compares?
(Plus I'm not sure that we really need it this time...no infinitely hungry teenage boy or roll away needed for this trip.)

Thanks.

the early entry to a designated park for the onsite hotel guests, still is a perk and quite a few of the guests take advantage of it.

crowds are lighter during that first hour of ee for the parry hotter sections.

other sections will not be opened during that time but one ride should be open.
DE has been opened for the hotel guests at the studios.

i think spiderman was opened at ioa during ee at one time.

i have stayed club at rpr and enjoyed it.
breakfast time period i went to the lounge but seldom used it for the time period of 5:00 to closing for the food offerings.
i was busy in the park or city walk and took a pass for the lounge most of the evenings.

during the early afternoons, i would visit the club lounge for water, soda.

for me, i don't plan out my days like some do when they go to the darkside.
if i was back at the hotel during food offerings at the lounge, i would check it out.
i did not make it a point to be at the hotel for it as i was more carefree on my stays and never watched the clock to hit the lounge at a certain time.

haven't read of any problems or unsatisfaction with the rpr club lounge.
if you are the type that are done with the parks and city walk before 5:00, then the club lounge could be beneficial for you.

services that are provided at the club lounge are also provided by concierge desk in the lobby.
any hotel guest can have the lobby concierge print out your boarding passes for flights, give you information, explain the hotel, parks, city walk, places of interest in the area, etc.

Early entry is still offered.During lower crowds times, it is only at ONE of the parks and it tends to stay at the same park. Most of the year it is only at Diagon alley at the studios( the only rides open are Gringotts, Despicable Me and the stores in Diagon alley). The Hogwarts express does not run till both parks are open. HOWEVER..THINGS CAN CHANGE AND WITH NO NOTICE ...The week in Jan that I was there ( 18th-23), with no prior notice, it was only at IOA.It was not announced beforehand but once asked, Universal tms did say it was staying at IOA thru 1/29 . During the HP special event this past weekend early entry was at both..Rumors at this point are pointing to it being only at the studios again, but it can change at any moment

I'm at the Portifino now, and was told by the concierge early entry on 2/3 would be Universal Studios.
We are moving to WDW (BLT) tomorrow and will skip early entry, so won't be able to verify first hand.
