Only water slide at Hard Rock pool? no RP PFB?

I am kinda shocked that all the Universal hotels don't have slides. We just went from the 22nd -28th and being it was hot we hung by the pool with my SIL who was staying at Royal Pacific with her family. We had a blast don't get me wrong but I found it odd there was no slide. The water play area was also pretty beat up, lots of things broken.

RPR is the only Universal hotel that doesn't have a slide.... PB and HRH each have a slide. Sorry you didn't know that then, because you could have pool-hopped.

Here is a picture of the wonderfully themed slide at the Portofino Bay Hotel.

Don't know where you got your information that only the Hard Rock had a slide. You should have come over here and asked some questions. Everybody here is so nice they would have helped They have helped our family so much with our vacations!

Just for reference for next time as Bubba's Mom said, pool hopping is encouraged, so if you wanted a slide, it was just a quick walk or boat ride over to the Hard Rock or the Portofino!

cool to know thanks guys. we will definitely be staying at a Universal hote next trip down to experience something new. We loved RP but Portofino looks awesome!

Yep the Portofino has one of the best pools around IMO. Love the castle in the middle with the slide and on the sides in the pool area even have great little hot tubs, one of which has kind of a waterfall.

I love the little waterfall over the castle thingie in the main pool and the sand beach.

The RP kind of has a ship/splash zone thing in the pool, and has a tropical theme, but I do think that the Portifino has by far the best.

We usually do the RP, but I think next time we'll head back to the Portifino, forgot how cool that pool was.
