Only took 2 months! DDE Card...

We ordered the card on March 10 and got it today! Not too bad...I was starting to worry that I wouldn't have it by June! Everyone still waiting, don't worry. It'll show up one day!!

We ordered our card on March 18 and haven't received it yet. The wait is making me crazy I get so bummed every day that it's not in the mail box!! Hopefully I'll have it next week!!

If you ordered it in March and just received it in the mail, what is the expiration date on it? I am trying to order the card to time it correctly that I receive it by the beginning of July but don't want it to expire until the end of July 2006 to get 2 trips within the year.

Another option for you is to sign up for the DDE about 2 weeks before your trip. Disney will send you a hardcopy confirmation letter in the mail that you can use for your first trip. The letter will be valid for about 6-8 weeks, covering the time period until your cards arrive. The expiration on your card will be 13-14 months from the date you order it so by delaying your purchase until mid June, you are pretty much guaranteed of an expiration date that is later than your second trip.

The only downside is having to carry around a folded up letter instead of a card on your first trip. I made photocopies of the letter (so my husband could have his own copy and so I had a backup in my suitcase just in case.) The letter I got was only a half-page long so I cut off the excess paper on my photocopies so that the letter, when folded, did not take up much room in my wallet.

I ordered ours on March 4 and was charged for it on April 4 -- and still don't have a card in my hand.

I'm getting a litle anxious as our trip is in 17 days and my original e-mail expired on Saturday. On our arrival day, our plane is schedule to arrive in Orlando at 6:45 and we have a 9:00 PS at 'Ohana that I would like to use the card on.

Hope I see something in the mail soon.

Similar experience here. Ordered it on March 1 and it got here May 2. But they don't expire until May 31, 2006.

I ordered our renewal approx 6 weeks ago. Our DDE cards expired yesterday.
I contacted Rosa and picked up a more current letter on Saturday. My e-mailed letter had the same expiration as our cards.
Our new DDE letter expires the end of June. I like to think we have our new cards by then!

Ordered mine March 13th, got mine in the mail today with an expiration of May 31st. Ours must have all come out of the same batch.

Order mine Mar 9th and still dont have it. I have been to WDW and come home. Hope that it comes before my next trip.

LOL I ordered mine March 10th also. Haven't received it yet, but just got back from Disney. The "letter" they emailed me worked great. I saved $74 with it. ($24 after you take into account the $50 I paid for the card.)

Checked my visa and it was billed to me on April 13. Still no card. Will be looking for it every day now. We leave on May 31. Hurry up, already!

I'm happy to say that our cards showed up in today's mail. Took 8 weeks and 4 days. We also got our Mickey Monitor today.

All in all, it was a good mail day.

Got ours today! Ordered March 8th, charged April 6th, received May 3rd, 2005. Expires May 31, 2006.
