Any thoughts on riding stanby only before NOON and then redeemiong the FPs in the afternoon.

Of course collecting FP along the way in the morning...

If the line is short or quick why wouldn't you ride it and get in a preride to using your FP? Or ride and assume your FP will help you get on when a longer line happens later.

I usually don't experience long wait lines or large crowds before noon. Last time i was there I rode Thunder Mountain, Indiana Jones, Jungle Cruise, Pirates, Matterhorn, and used a Space Mountain FP all before noon. The longest we waited was in line for Matterhorn around 11am for about 15-20 mins.

This is pretty much how we approach the park. We collect FP and ride standby in the morning when the lines aren't long. Use the FP in the afternoons/evenings when wait times are more than 15-20 min (sometimes over an hour).

us too, we collect as many as possible early to use later. Space mountian runs out , so get them while you can

We only use Indy FPs when the line starts outside of the building - if it doesn't the FP is worthless IMO.

true the fast pass does not take you far up on indy
