I booked a king bed room for our upcoming trip because it was the only offer avhailabke. I've been calling to see if 2 beds are available but they never are. It will be me and DS on this trip and I really want 2 beds. I don't want to switch resorts. The small size of POFQ is important this trip. Do you think I'll ever get the 2 beds- I booked with their summer offer. Is it possible we will be bumped out of a king room at check in?

1) If you booked a King, you will not be bumped.
2) Unless, there is a physical problem with the room.

Keep trying untill the 46 day mark, which is when people would have to cancel, and giving you a extra day to make changes to yours. Then I'd be prepared to make a switch if 2 beds are needed. I loved POFQ, so I can see why you want to stay there, especially after just staying at POR last month, dont think I would EVER go back there. I did think POR was actually prettier than POFQ, just HUGE and the buses were the worst we have ever seen at ANY resort. (yes, it was spring break, but we have stayed peak times before). I would try every day, but have a back-up plan.

You can ask at check-in. One time I was staying with a friend and all we could get was king bed at CSR. We wanted queens but none available. We asked at check-in and they gave us a ready 2 queen room with a pool view (same price) at 8:30am. The bad part was they didn't tell us it was smoking (this was before the all non-smoking). We got to the room and it smelled. We called the front desk and they said they would send an ionizer. We decided to give it a chance since we really didn't want the king. We regretted it because the smell never went away.

I thought all rooms at Disney were non-smoking. Is this not true?
