Time is getting really short. Seems like the closer it gets the tenser we get.:scared: I guess it just nerves and wanting to get on our way and out of Green Bay.

It's been over a year since our last trip. Seems like an eternity. Any ideas about waiting without going nuts???

I pass the week or so before the trip by preparing the house for our return. I make a couple of meals for the freezer so I won't have to cook while I'm soooo tired and unpacking. I make lists of things to do when I get home so that I don't have to think and can go on autopilot.

I agree with the PP. Anytime I leave for any trip, I make sure the house is straight and a few meals are frozen. Too tired to cook and clean when I get home. :goodvibes
That way I only have to unpack and relax a bit.
I've still got 60 to go but we've really been watching the Disney movies and the planning DVD lately. Also making sure there are no last minute things nedding to be picked up or packed. :woohoo: :woohoo:
Have a great trip!

I, too, clean the house before leaving. Not just to keep me busy, but more because I hate coming home to a mess.

We're getting so anxious here, too! It's really all I talk about -- driving just about everyone nuts :)

Same boat, we're down to 16 days, same old pre-vacation anxious jitters. Our 39th trip to WDW, still apprehensive as ever. Week before leaving I quit reading these forums, too much negativity to deal with and I'm drawn to those posts. We've never encountered half of what I've read about the negative aspects of WDW. We always stay on property, always deluxe and don't do commando. We're like in our own little world while there and see and do what we want with no guides tucked under our arms.

As we travel south the jitters seem to disipate, and once on property and entering our room, all the fun begins but then there's the leaving and returning home to reality starts to set in. Hate leaving the make believe magic to the rat race of home.

 Don't try to fight it. It's too overpowering.

Regardless of what you do, you'll be thinking about your trip. I have done a lot of what people have posted already like clean the house, etc, but it doesn't help. When it gets close, you just can't help being anxious.

Nice post I am down to 25 days and counting to our DVC and back home to our time share at Saratoga Springs Resort..... Can't wait:banana:  :dance3: :hourglass

I was wondering the same thing. I would normally clean also so when I get back that is one less thing to worry about. But this time dh is not going so he can clean it, can't he? lol I guess it would be nice to have food ready for a couple of days so I can relax after work instead of cooking. DH does not cook very well!! :rotfl:
