Only 6 TS credits--Is CRT, LeCellier & Cali Grill too much?

Am I crazy to try to do 3 '2 credit' ressies when I only have 6 TS credits? I feel so fortunate to have snagged so many prime ressies during my stay that I wonder if my judgement is being clouded by the effort it has taken to get these ressies.

I'll now need to pay out of pocket for my remaining meals (O'hana, BoG, Tusker House, H&V, R&C), all of which I am looking forward to, or make some really tough decisions. I'm so confused, so any advice or thoughts on this would be most welcome!

More info--I'm a bit of a foodie, and am travelling with DH, DD8, DD5 and DS18mos. This is our second family trip (last one in 2012--where we did CRT & Ohana, but others will be the first time for us). We will probably not have another trip to Disney for 2-3 years after this one.

It usually makes more sense to pay out of pocket for the two-credit meals. They are usually less bank for your buck.

The TS credit is worth approx $37.50 so for a 2 credit meal you would have to order an entree, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage that costs $75.00. As supersnoop posted, it is often hard to justify using 2 credits. You can look at the menus to see what you might order and the thread that lists the fixed price meals to see which would be the best use of credits.

You have done CRT, le cellier meh and cg is ambitious with 3 lo, IMHO

I think the other adrs you gave planned will be much better values and more enjoyable family experiences honestly

This is super helpful--at first it was counter-intuitive, but now makes total sense!:thumbsup2

Thanks Pumbaa! I was worried about LeCellier because of the mixed reviews, and was hoping that CG would be kid-friendly since it's Disney--doesn't sound like that's the case :(

I don't know why I never thought of this, but how does Le Cellier work on the dining plan? Isn't it an a la carte restaurant? Does your 2 credits just get you a piece of meat? Or do you get to choose sides as well?

At a TS restaurant where you order from a menu, like Le Cellier, your entree will be everything that is included in the description of the entree. If a menu has a separate section called "Sides" or "Accompaniments" or something similar, those items have separate price points and would have to be paid OOP if you order them.

On the regular dining plan your entitlements remain the same (entree, dessert, non-alc beverage) even though you are charged 2 credits per person.
