And I have no idea how I am going to get everything done to get ready to go!!! This was kind of a last minute trip to begin with, but when I started planning it about a month ago, I was so excited (well, I still am) and I even started packing some stuff. I usually save everything till the very last minute (like packing up to the minute I have to leave the house), but I already packed most of DS's stuff. I also started on what was going to be a very detailed itinerary of our trip, but all this everyday living life stuff got in the way.
I pretty much have to get the bulk of everything done today (laundry and planning), because it's going to be a very busy week. I'll hardly be at home all week with working and various commitments. Luckily we started a new flex schedule at work so I have Friday off. That means I'll have most of the day to do all the last minute stuff without a toddler in the way since I'll be taking him to daycare so I can run all my errands.
I'm getting so nervous about this trip! DS is usually an angel, but we do have the occasional meltdown (apparently we've hit the terrible twos). I just want to make sure I plan well enough (and pack enough stuff as "distractions") so I can make this trip as smooth as possible.
Thanks for letting me vent!
