We have only 2 days at the parks and we're staying offsite. We'll be there May 13th and 14th. We bought 2 day parkhopper tickets. We know this isn't long enough, but it's more than we would have had a month ago...we didn't think we would get to go at all.

This will be our first time, but not our last! We need a strategy to get the most out of it. Any advice for us?

It depends alot on what you are looking for, and the age of your family. With only two days, younger kids are going to spend much of that time in MK, while older adults would be likely to want to visit Epcot for the Flower and Garden Festival, which is fantastic. Teens and young adults will want the thrill rides at MGM.

If you try to cram all four parks into two days, you'll miss alot in each one. Younger kids would never stand up the the incredible pace you would have to set trying to experience four parks in two days, especially for the first time. (For that matter, neither would adults!!) Perhaps it would be better to pick just two parks for this visit, and save the other two. If you picked just the monorail parks, you could park at the TTA in the morning, and take the monorail back and forth between MK and Epcot.
If you parkhop to MGM or AK, you'll spend alot of time just driving, parking, and tramming in.

Whichever you choose, be sure to be at whatever park you choose each day for opening, as you can get more done the first two hours of the day than other other ten hours combined. Also be sure to use Fastpasses.

You've got your work cut out for you. My best advice is not to knock yourselves out trying to do too much. Take the time to smell the flowers, and really enjoy the time you have rather than going at a dead run trying to experience everything in two days.

Good luck, and I hope you have a wonderful time!!

Whatever park you go in the morning, get there early.. I mean get there before they open. Use the FP as much as you can. And one more thing, list all the MUST rides/attractions/shows, then you won't feel bad that you missed your favorites. And the ones that is not so important to you, you can do that on your next trip.

It probably would have been helpful to list the ages of our party. We are 42, 40, 38, 17, and 9. My husband really wants to go to AK, our youngest really wants to go to MK, and our oldest wants to go to MGM. We could skip Epcot this time and just do a couple of things in 2 of the parks in one day and spend the other day in one park. My husband (40), who said he didn't think he would ever like Disney, has already caught the bug just from planning for this 2 days and has already agreed to go back. I'm praying once he gets there he will want to go back very SOON. ;)

Thanks for the advice.

We too are only doing 2 days (May 19,20). We have been once before so somewhat know where we want to spend our time. We will spend the better part of a day at MK, a morning at AK and at least 1/2 day at MGM.

Just know you are not going to be able to see and do everything ( last time we went for 6 days and did'nt get to everything). I also agree with the suggestion listed above ARRIVE EARLY.

Have a great trip.
