Only 2 days - 2 parks

Going to WDW end of June and will only have two days in the parks. We won't be able to park hopper and will be going to Magic Kingdom one day and Epcot one day. We will be there Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I know the MK is very busy on Saturdays. My question is out of the three days we're there, Fri, Sat. & Sun., which day should we go to MK and which day should we go to Epcot? We have been to WDW before so we basically know what we want to see and do, but I want to be sure I maximize the time we do have.

My thought was to go to MK on Friday for the whole day & evening and go to Epcot on Sunday, and leave Saturday as a hanging around POFQ on Saturday and enjoying the pool and DTD on Sat. We could also switch this plan and do Epcot on Friday and MK on Sunday. Let's hear all you experts, what's my best plan of action. Thanks.

Without a doubt DO MK ON FRIDAY!!!!The parks are almost always the least crowded the day AFTER thir EE day.I keep a vacation log and looking back on it we have always experienced the least crowds at MK on Friday.

Historically busiest days at each park:

MK - Mon/Thurs/Sat
Epcot - Tues/Fri.
MGM - Sun/Wed
AK - Mon/Tues/Wed

HOpe this helps. Since Extra Magic hour is on SUnday in MK, it might be better to do MK on Friday and Epcot on Sun. unless you want to take advantage of extra magic hour on Sun. Hope I am not confusing you. You will have a great time anyway!
Just pack it all in. I like just going to one park on one day sometimes instead of park hopping. Seems like you don't waste time going from park to park.

MK on Friday for sure. Saturday and Sunday both seem to be slower at Epcot.
