Last year it was on Christmas day and got one of the largest ratings for that day at 7pm against Corrie, I cannot think of any other programme after Eastenders on BBC1 getting the ratings DW has been obtaining so I think yes it will be on Christmas day again.

Even ITV gave up this year, they put Harry potter and other films against it and it still pulled in the viewers and saw off Ant and Dec this time, after the landslide last year.

However the over repeating on BBC3 might have an effect, as people will know the BBC1 show will be repeated shortly afterwards say by new years day.
