[UPDATE]...AT ABOUT 8:45 A.M. CENTRAL TIME ALL 10,000 ARE GONE. I CAN'T BELIEVE IT. I SAW ON FATWALLET.COM WHERE SOME PEOPLE BOUGHT 10 TO 20 COMPUTERS. THIS IS WILD. NO ONE EXPECTED THIS. I GUESS THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE FOUND OUT EARLIER THAN LAST OCTOBER. CAN YOU SAY EBAY.
.........ALL GONE.......DEAL IS DEAD.........

There is a hot coupon going live with Dell Home tomorrow morning, April 13th, at 8am CT.

There are only 10,000 redemptions available with this code so make sure that you take advantage of this before it expires.

If you are interested, make your purchase soon after 8am CT to ensure that you qualify for the coupon
.
Offer: Save $750 on select Inspiron notebook purchases of $1499 or more (before tax and shipping)!

Restrictions: Not combinable with Inspiron notebooks containing Celeron Processors, Inspiron 2200s, Deals of the Week, Outrageous Deals, dollars off, percentages off and select other promotions.

Only one coupon may be applied per cart at checkout.
Coupon code expires after first 10,000 uses, or when the limited quantities available through this offer are depleted, whichever is earlier. Offers subject to change.

Enter coupon code at checkout to receive this offer. Limited quantities at this price. Limited time offer. ONLINE ONLY.

Coupon Code: J096TQ8TFFG2VX

Check out the forum link below for ideas of how to combine add-ons to reach the $1499.00 limit so the $750.00 discount applies.

I found out last time that I could go over $1499.00 and then delete those add-ons to get me as close to the mark of $1499.00 without going under. Choose wisely, and check out any other coupons or rebates that you may add on to this deal.

Here is a link below to a forum that already has a ton of pages where everyone is discussing what Dell notebook they want to get and what add-ons they should get to bring the price down lower.

http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?threadid=91821&postid=1080325

The link above is obviously from www.slickdeals.net .

They are also posting this deal on www.fatwallet.com .

I haven't looked yet, but go to www.dealhunting.com or www.currentcodes.com or www.naughtycodes.com to look up any extra coupons for Dell. This is a good place to look for any codes on any store.

Once people get to work on their computers in the morning the news is going to spreed like wild fire.

Those 10,000 redemptions will be gone by the afternoon or sooner.

So plan ahead now, and research what kind of Dell notebook you would like to buy and what add-ons will qualify to reach the minimum limit of $1499.00 before the $750.00 redemption kicks in to give you a final possible price of $749.99 for a new Dell notebook.

And use that link above and keep reading all the pages until you get the information that you need to make an informed decision.

Less than eight hours to the start.

Best Wishes and Good Luck.

Sincerely, RaySharpton

This deal has been spreading around the net like wild fire since Monday night. It is a really good deal. I ordered one for a co-worker last October on this same deal. I have two more to order in the morning for others. I have been telling them for weeks to wait for this deal to come back and it finally has. It was only a matter of how far into April Dell would make us wait. If only it was time to replace mine, but I need to squeeze another year out of it. Both a new laptop and a Disney trip not possible this spring. :wave2:

Cool picture of the MK fireworks, Manicore.

Have you already figured out which add-ons that you are going to get for each computer that you are going to buy?

I posted this last time, too. But I don't think one person here on the DISboards bought one using the redemption code.

Good luck this morning.

Thanks, I took the picture last June on the only dry night we had the whole trip.

For the people I am ordering for it looks like a 600M and a 700M. I have a pretty good idea what each will have on it based on ach person's needs. Both will come in around $1100 after coupon.

I love Dell at the end of the fiscal quarter. Even more fun is watching their stock right around the 20th, see if the deals paid off. Last quarter they cheaped out on the deals and didn't hit the numbers. Then their stock went down, I don't think they will let that happen again.

I know how you feel I was going to post this yesterday morning but seems most people don't get as excited about these Dell deals, so I didn't. I am glad you did though, it is a good deal, and I am sure a few people will benefit from it. Thanks again. :wave2:

Thanks for the coupon code. :)

How often does Dell have this special deal?
We don't need a laptop for over a year for when our Daughter goes off to College. Is this a once-a-year deal?
Thanks.

Hi, pw2pp. I don't know the answer to that. I do know that the first time that I ever saw the $750.00 instant code was October, 2004.

Last October I don't think that they said how many Dell notebooks that they had on hand before they sold out, but I am sure that it is in the thousands.

Some models ran out of stock before others by noon, and I think that the deal was dead by evening.

They did do the same thing in making it a $750.00 instant discount, and they did make it last for only one day, but I suspect they will run out of models before the end of the day.

There have been other instant savings of $500.00 more or less, but this is only the second time that I have seen the maximum of $750.00 discount.

Most people are now on Dell trying to decide what Dell model of notebook they want. Then they continue to add, add-ons until the minimum of $1499.99 is reached.

I found out that last year that the code would not show up if the minimum amount had not been passed of $1499.99.

When I accidentally added to many add-ons up to $1800.00, I put the code in and it subtracted $750.00 from the $1800.00.

Then I started subtracting some of the add-ons as close to $1499.00 as I could.

I don't know if the Dell site will remember your confirguration, but just write down the specific model and the specific add-ons, so that when the sale starts in a few hours, you won't have to waste your time deciding.

And the Dell website will be very busy as more and more people get on line and try to buy.

And they will sell out of models. Maybe all of there models once the public figures out what the code is and what a great deal it is.

Fatwallet and slickdeals are the two places that let me know when the deal comes around about a day in advance.

Good luck next year.

Ray

If you don't live in the following states, then you can save even more money because you don't have to pay sales taxes.

Dell Catalog Sales LP currently collects applicable sales tax in California, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.

Just a heads up....It looks like all of the notebooks already have some type of savings going on so this coupon won't work.

Hi, simpilotswife.

Yes, the code will work. I promise. The sale does not start until 8:00 A.M. Central Time. Whatever the price is listed, even if it shows a discount, you get the $750.00 redemption. You may also notice some automatic upgrades.

Dell still has some time to make changes on the website. I have been told that if they do make changes up to the start time of the sale, anything you have saved in the cart may no longer be valid.

Just try it at 8:00 A.M. Central Time.

There are only 10,000 $750.00 Dell instant redemptions.

the www.slickdeals.net forum already has over 50 pages or over 500 posts to that thread that I listed on page one. I'm sure that fatwallet.com will have many posting, too.

Let me know if you try to buy?

List your Dell notebook and your add-ons and your cost here, if you buy one.

You can get an additional 2% off by applying for the Dell Preferred Account.

You're welcome Tae.

Below is a quote by JBlack from fatwallet.com yesterday around 18 hours ago. Although Dell has the right to change its prices up until the start of when the $750.00 redemption code starts at 8:00 A.M. Central Time, he priced these Dell notebooks at the time with the $750.00 off deal. Everyone has their on idea of what they would want to add-on, so this is just an example of prices, add-ons, and $750.00 off.

One must practice these things, if there are only 10,000 $750.00 redemption codes.

Sorry corndog, no Latitude $750.00 redemption codes today.

Thanks Ray! I saw this on fatwallet but it was too much to sort through.

If anyone needs a PC for next year, I'd wait. Spend some time on slickdeals or fatwallet to find out what is a good deal then be ready to jump when you need the computer.

thanks again. dh has a few all ready to try at 8am. we already have a media center for my kitchen and old gateway pc in dd room but he wants a notebook for when he is on shift at the fire dept. He has been asking for a Dell. :flower: I let you know what I can find.

it wont let me have it at the sale price of $1520 it jumps back up to $1820 than takes the $750 off. :confused3

Dell won't combine the discounts. For the best deal, configure one close to $1499 (price before any discount) but not under and then take off the $750.

Looks like the site is quite busy!

Dell does these deals at the end of each fiscal quarter. The deals vary depending on sales. Are they meeting Wall Streets numbers? (Kind of like Disney and discounts, the higher the vacancy rate the better the room codes.) They do this to prop up sales numbers to help stock value. The value of the company relies on the value of the stock. A good quarter means strong stock performance. Take a look at what their stock did the end of October vs the last reporting in January when there were not as many good deals. Not very good, so I guess that is why the $750 off $1499 is back

Got one order in for a friend of mine an 8600. I had it in the cart and kept submitting the coupon until it worked.
