Only 1 day in MK

I let my sister talk me into only a 4 night trip. We were lucky enough to get an early flight in and a late flight out but that still only gives us 4 days in the parks and 1 shopping, etc day. I am wondering if we are in trouble because we only have 1 day at MK. We will hopefully be there at RD and there is PM EMH that day but I have a feeling we will be doing a break of some kind and hopefully dinner at CMs. Will we be able to get a decent amount done in 1 day (3 adults, 1 toddler) or should I be ready to drop our Epcot day?

If I read your tag right, you'll be there in mid-December. You should have enough time in one day, but you might want to add a night in MK after your AK day. AK will close at 5:00. Or use that night as your time at DTD for shopping and you have an extra day to go to whatever park you wish.

I have done both one and two days at MK. I still haven't seen everything! Try to plan your day around extra Magic hours and order the free map on the Disney site so you can plan what you want to see the most. We did one park a day and were satisfied on our first trip. Just be sure to take a break during the day to avoid nite time meltdowns for all
