Do you think it is possible for me to do both parks in one day? Can't fit 2 days in for these parks because of the rest of our schedule but certainly want to get my money's worth in the multi-park ticket. As far as Sea World, I dont want to see every show. Probably just the Believe and maybe one other show and then the rides and animal exhibits. So I was thinking arriving at SW when it opens and leaving around 4:30-5:00 and head over to Aquatica. And then spend the evening swimming at Aquatica. The time of the year we are going to Aquatica it closes at 10 according to their website. Does Aquatica seem to be less busy at night/late evening? Newbie planning first trip to Orlando in a long time so would appreciate any advice. Thanks....

You could probably do it the way you have planned. Acquatica is not as busy at night, but SW has great night shows.
Another idea....
Don't plan any SW tours or sit down meals. Get there when they open. Do the rides early and see the 2 shows you want to see. Hopefully you could be done by 2. Head over to Acquatica, spend 4 hours in the hot part of the day in the water. Head back over to SW for the night shows and see the animals you might not have had time to see.

Even though Aquatica is open late, you might want to do that earlier and head over to SeaWorld in the evening. My DH loves the SeaWorld fireworks, so he goes over at night (we live nearby) and gets to ride the coasters several times before the fireworks because there is no line.

Also, be aware that depending on the time of year, you might be dealing with afternoon thunderstorms. Those are the times to do the indoor animal exhibits at SeaWorld (although everyone else will have the same idea!).

So it sounds like it easy to hop back and forth between those parks because the are so nearby? And yes we will be going in the summer so those darn thunderstorms will be inevitable. Do you think they would close Aquatica down if there were thunderstorms or could we wait it out if we are there when it starts raining? I live in TX and am not used to all the rain. We hardly get any here even in the spring time. And SW how does the storms affect it? Will they close down or just close certain attractions? I bet that really thins the crowds-huh?

One more question-- usually what time do they start the fireworks at SW generally?

I just consulted DH who is the SW fireworks expert and he said they start at 9:50. Get to the stadium a little early for a good seat.

They will kick you out of the water at Aquatica for thunderstorms, but I'm not sure if they will shut it down. I'm guessing they won't if it's expected to just pass through but they might if it's an all-day thunder boomer (that's how they seem to do it at Disney).

Thanks, you have been so helpful. You'll have to excuse some of my stupid questions. I found it on the website once I realize where the show schedule was. Thanks again...
