Online Site Availability

Has anyone else ever had the online site find sites if you looking at campsite plus tickets, but can't find any sites available if you only want to book campsite? It just happened to me - - we have some days left on the tickets from 3 years ago, so I really just wanted to get the campsite right now.

I have never had that happen because we never book tickets. (We have APs) However, I know they put conditions on when they allow a campsite to be booked. Many times I have tried to book a weekend several weeks out with no luck but if I add one or two days to the same weekend it will book. I have also waited until just a few days before the same weekend and been lucky enough to get just the days I wanted. I think Disney is just trying to optimize the system to get the most money out of their potential customers. The campground is so popular they know it will book up at popular times like peak season and weekends.
