Online reservations

Has anyone heard anymore about online DVC reservations? I keep thinking that they should almost be ready to announce it unless they scraped the whole idea.

they've been talking about it for several years - don't expect it soon IMO.

they could announce something tomorrow, sure...but that's not the way to bet...

Jim Lewis said during the last annual meeting that online reservations would be available by the end of 2011.

When I was on the DVC member website today, I noticed a place that said make reservations. I went to it and it looked like a place to request a reservation. Got busy and didn't look anymore. Is that it? Or what is it?

I looked at it again. It says "request a reservation". I guess that's different than "online reservation".

Correct. Its a form you fill out to request a reservation. Worked fine for me when I booked OKW for October. Got an email the next day with my reservation info.
