online reservations in 2016?

Are you able to book in 2016 yet? I want to plan my trip for next summer but the website won't give me prices past december 2015 and i've been on hold with disney for 30 minutes( got hung up on after 15 minutes) So i'm a tad frustrated and I couldn't find the answers in another post so i thought i'd make a new one.

Room only, yes if it's within 499 days but I believe it's phone only.

2016 Rates should be out around July-Aug.

I hope that the rates come out before the 180 day mark for early January. I'd like to have an idea what I'm getting into before I book.

It really would make good sense for them to put the room only prices up online so those of us who can't call could at least start pricing our holidays out a bit more than 12 months out.
And for those wanting January, late July is so late to be getting accomodation prices.

I thought the room only rates for the next year usually came out in June. I've been watching for them for the past several years. Packages usually take longer, but I don't do those so don't pay attention.

IIRC, you can call now and book a room only for 2016 on the phone, but you will be charged the highest rack rate from 2015 and will end up adjusting when the real 2016 rates/seasons are released.

I have a room only reservation at All Star Movies for April 16-24,2016 but I had to call on the phone and make that reservation. I was told that in July/Aug I can call and change that to a complete package. But at least I know I have a room in place.

My Disney travel agent tried to book a room only for me this week at the boardwalk. She was told that I can book it but they needed a percentage of a down payment instead of the normal $200 fee. Since I was booking at the boardwalk that would be over $700 so we have decided to wait until July when they release their rates for 2016.

Room only requires a 1 night room stay deposit. It's the only thing you can hook right now.

Packages require the $200 down and those prices come out in the Summer.

And just to expound upon what @aaarcher86 said, not only do you have to put down the equivalent of one night instead of $200 for a package. But because the new rates aren't out it's one night at the HIGHEST nightly rate from this year.
