Sorry, just need to vent my frustration!! I know it seems silly, but it's yet another example of Disney's screwed up computer systems.

I have 3 rooms booked for a week in June and all are listed on my Vacation Details screen, but 1 of the 3 won't let me get to the "Enter Celebration Information" screen. I don't really HAVE to enter celebration info (would be nice), but it's where you go to check in online.

When I click this one reservation, I get an error "The information provided does not match our records. Please try ag
ain or call (800) ********."

I want to get this resolved so I'm not scrambling before or trip trying to get this straightened out. I called the number (Member Svcs), and the CM pulled the res in his system, thinking I'm seeing a discrepancy. I tell him that's not the issue. So he gives me a number for the Online Check-In dept. They can't see my reservation until X days beforehand.

I ask the CM if there is anyone else who can help figure out what is wrong with this reservation, and she basically says 'No'. Ok, so in all of The Walt Disney Company, NOBODY in the entire company is reponsible for getting the reservation data to display on the web site. I swear I could not get an answer from this girl. She just kept insisting that there was nobody that could help me with this.

Absolutely ridiculous.

I agree...Call back and ask to speak to a supervisor. If that doesn't work, the next call should be to the member satisfaction team!

Is the only error you're getting when you click on the "Enter Celebration Information" button? I got that when I tried to enter that people staying on my points are on their honeymoon. I think it didn't work because the room is not reserved in my name; hence, my account name does not match the name on the reservation. If you have three rooms booked, it must be true that at least one of the rooms is NOT in your name. If that's the one you're having trouble with, that might be the problem.

Sadly, the CM who said "no one can help/fix" is probably right...

I also have (serious) errors on my "vacation details" dvcmember website...in my case, the website shows 55 extra points charged against my account for my recent trip ... I've called several times, and emailed. Member Satisfaction called me. Bottom line: they tell me my points are correct and there's nothing to be done about the website showing the incorrect charges (for one night they show a charge of 55 points instead of 30; on another day they charged me the 30 points twice)...I've been through my contracts and they do in fact reflect the correct totals.

It's very very frustrating (especially when Member Satisfaction told me I should call them to make my reservations because I caused the problem by "making so many changes" (it was a pieced-together reservation that used W/Ls)...the Member Satisfaction person told me she'd "help me" make reservations since I didn't quite know how to do it. (I've made upwards of 15 or so DVC reservations in my 3 years of ownership; I've faithfully followed all the rules. I honestly believe I really do know how to do it. Sigh a sad sigh)

So, I've given up. But it's still disconcerting--to say the least--to see that extra 55 points in charges on the website! Disney is wonderful; DVC is great--but their computer system truly stinks!

Is it listed under the same name. Try adding or changing a name to the reservation then try again.

But you said your points totals are correct, right? I've had this problem too, ever since we went to BWV and were upgraded at check-in from a standard room to a garden view room, complete with CRO daily housekeeping. My website details show that I never even took that trip, but the points are accurate for the contract. Really, I wouldn't worry about it, it hasn't caused any problems for me and I've kept a close eye on it.

That was exactly the issue -- and thanks to the person who PM's me with more details. One of the rooms is in my brother's name.

The on-line check-in button won't show until 10 days prior to your check-in date. We used it a couple of time last month and it was more trouble than it was worth. Didn't save us any time and screwed up our requests.

I was going to post the same thing. My daughter got this error, but I noticed her reservation was under my name. Once I changed it to her last name it went right through.
