Online Points Banking - How Good?

I've never banked my points online. To those that have, how has that feature been for you? I have heard that there were glitches since it was installed. What do you think about online banking?

I used tghe online point banking this year. Two home resorts, so technically I used it twice. It worked fine. I did read about problems with it a little while later, but my points appear to be banked correctly on the member website.

I say - Go for it!

I used it last fall shortly after it became available on the website (before the glitches.) It worked great -- saved a call to MS. If I remember correctly, it generates a confirmation number so just be sure to save that just in case. You might want to print out your point balances after banking as well. There have been so many glitches with Disney's computers lately, I have been keeping more documentation than usual on the state of my account.

Thank you! I have an April use year and want to bank my AKV points by next month and then bank my VWL points by the end of September for a big vacation next Xmas time.

I have used it with no problems. Check your online totals and keep a copy of your conformation number.

I'm a newbie, but have used it twice in the past month and it worked fine for me...When I called to make my reservations, everything was in order...

Okay, I did it.

I banked my remaining few AKV points for next year as well as my 50-point add-on at VWL. I kept the larger VWL contract active just in case something comes up and I want to use those points. The online banking went smoothly and I received a confirmation in my email which matched the numbers that I jotted down. I just have to remember to bank the rest, is all, when the time comes. (ties strings to his fingers)
