Love the threads about driving.

I use google maps & CAA, AAA to you Southern North Americans, as my online planning resources when I require routing or map information.

What other online tools do people use for their driving trips ?

I use Window / Local.live for my trips .

I like the way it works and how easy it is to get around. I also like that once I'm in an area I can just type in a business ( Wal-Mart ,Dominos) and it it pinpoints them on the map I'm viewing.

For longer trips you can PinPoint different areas along the orute and then get the step by step directions from place to place.

I like www.mapquest.com. They provide driving directions which includes not only mileage but also the Exit numbers.
