Online Contests - Ever Win?

Has anyone ever won anything in an online contest, sweepstakes, lotto, etc.?

A couple years ago I won an autographed (by ALL the stars) X-Men movie theater poster.

It was so cool, but I gave it to my brother for Christmas because he is a HUGE fan. It was the best feeling in the world

Sure have, a few times. The biggest thing I ever won was last Christmas off of the Home Shopping Channel Online, I won a diamond heart pendant and chain with a value of $300. I've also won a radio and some lotion and body gel, a doll and quite a few T-shirts.

I won a trip to Vegas on the radio this year....It was for a Tiger Woods charity concert with Bon Jovi. A great trip and a fun place to be for sure...

I have won a few things, a plate that i gave them a pic of my house and the put it on the plate , it was worth 250.00 and i won 100.00 travelers check and i just won third prize from a contest Kbtoys had that was disney related and i got a stuff character buzz light year, and i won a hugh christmas stocking stuffed with mattel toys last yr from a tv station contest i enter online.

I won an online contest once. I won $1,000 gift certificate to CDNow.com. Boy do I have a lot of movies and CDs, LOL!

When you won, how did they notify you? E-mail, snail mail or phone? Did you remember that you had entered that particular contest?

for me when I won the poster, as far as I know no one notified me.....just one day I got this huge tube in the mail and had no idea what it was, opened it...and there was the autographed poster, and yes I did then remember signing up for it. The grand prize was Wolverine's motorcycle.....but hey, I was happy to win at all!

I got emails or phone calls from all of them but i had to sign a paper for the Disney- kbtoy one and return it to them before i recieved the toy .

I just won 3 Disney DVD's from my local radio station here in Miami! This is the second time I won something from a radio station, in 1986 I won Springsteen tickets, that was a great concert!

I won a digital camera once. Not an expensive one, but still nice. I didn't remember signing up for the contest though. It just came UPS one day. I never got a notification that I had won. I also won a beach chair from St. Paulie Girl and that just came too without notification.

I've won several small things, some Disney pens, a Disney "Bugs Life" tshirt (it was a "set" of them, 2 adult T's, and 2 childrens size Tshirts...real odd combo that one was LOL).

My latest win was a big one....a round trip air ticket to Australia. Woo hoo!
Haven't been able to use the ticket yet though....

I won a bunch of stuff from the Sharpie 500 (Nascar race) contest last year....tshirt, nylon breifcase, hat, keychain, mini flag, and of course a special Sharpie 500 Sharpie marker. Everything just came by UPS with no advance notice.

I won a prize package from Veryfine.com. I can remember it was a small backpack like cooler and a beach towel. I think there was something else in it, but I can't remember what it was.

A few little ones, nothing worth a lot. T-shirts, hats etc. Once I won a case of bubble yum for my son which he enjoyed and the biggist thing was a prize pack from the "How the Grinch Stored Christmas" contest from Ziplock. It was a HUGE box of Ziplock products, a Grinch book and the soundtrack from the movie. I liked all the Ziplock stuff!

My son has won a Spongebob Sleeping Bag through a Lunchable contest. I have won a set of Biore stuff once.. , I think I have won other things, but can't remember what.

A few years ago I won a one year supply of Toaster Scramblers (I think that is what they are called). I ate so many I refuse to ever eat them again LOL. One day the mail man came and left a small package that contained 52 coupons, each good for a free box of those Toaster Scrambler things. I was so excited!! It was the first, last and only thing I have ever won.

I even remember signing up for the contest ;-) But there was no notification prior to them shipping me the coupons.

A few years ago I won a contest from the Daytona Beach Chamber of Commerce. I didn't even really remember entering but I had been looking at their website to get info about possibly visiting. I filled out a survey and that entered me into their contest.

When the nice lady called to tell me I won I wasn't very friendly because I was like "uh huh, yeah whatever" because I was waiting to see how much this "free" vacation package was going to cost me. You know we've all received those kinds of calls!! But it turned out to be really legit!

They mailed us a bucket & shovel like you'd use on the beach with 4 Daytona t-shirts, a gift certificate to a restaurant, free mini golf, 4 nights at a beachfront hotel, certificate for free go-karts, free ice skating and free admission to a museum. We used everything but the museum admission because it was closed on the day that was best for us to visit, and we only used 3 out of the 4 free nights at the hotel because we'd had enough and wanted to get to WDW a day earlier. Wow, that was a fabulous vacation (our first stay at the DOLPHIN ). After arriving there none of us regretted our decision to leave Daytona a day early!!!

Wahhhhh, now I miss the Dolphin!!!
