I did online checkin last night for our two linked staterooms. Took about 45 minutes, but the site would not accept my credit card, so I chose cash payment instead.

Spent at least 1.5 hours on two phone calls with Disney today and was able to resolve this and several other problems. The customer support people, as usual, were beyond great in assisting me and resolving the issues. They admitted that the problems I was experiencing were due to technical glitches with the website.

I miss the good old days when you could walk into the terminal, wait maybe 15 minutes in line, and then get your party's documents approved, pictures taken, and keycards issued in five minutes or less. Now that the pandemic is over, why does Disney insist on us using this dinosaur of a site/app with all its problems and not return to checking in at the Port where smart, helpful people can do the job in a fraction of the time?

It is the trend of the industry and society dependent on technology/ computers.

Were we ever able to just walk in at our discretion?

2001 and security changed things, too.

Ship manifests get submitted 3 days pre-cruise for screening.

Now about Disney IT… 🤔
