Online Checkin????

I've been trying to use this feature for the last couple of days but it keeps saying Temporarily unavailable. Has anyone used this feature and if so what are the pros and cons. Am I wasting my time?

Totally worth it IMHO. Far shorter lines, still a chance of an upgrade. Oh, far shorter lines. Used it twice for a split stay - 8/15 and 8/16 - no problems at all.

I used it in March -- very easy check-in, no line. As it turned out, we arrived when there were few people checking in anyway, but if we'd been 10 minutes later, there was a bus load arriving (probably from the airport) and would have saved some real time.

We used it in June. No line and we were processed in just a few minutes. Our packet was already prepared. Will use it next trip.

i just found out today that i can not do online check-in because i used a travel agent-

So if you use a travel agent, you can't do online check in? The friend I'm going with is the TA. We'd also been told that you may lose your upgrade request if you check in online.

I booked through a TA and just did online check-in. I just put in the Disney confirmation number she gave me and it pulled up my reservation to confirm, which was all correct. I just had to enter my address, phone #, and then payment info and arrival time. They sent me a confirmation email and everything. We're doing ME (so possibly arriving with a lot of others) and I have 2 little ones. I figured if there was a chance it would save me time in a line I was doing it!

for anyone who has used the on-line check in process..... once you get there they just hand you your packet and you are all set????? just curious... thinking of trying it for our upcoming trip.

This is good to know. I will definitely use online check-in. Is it available like 10 days before your reservation?

You go to a special line, reserved for guests who checked in online. You show them some kind of ID, and they retrieve your packet, review your package with you, and send you on your way with a smile.

I have been trying to check in online since Wed. Our flight got switched to arrive at midnight, had hoped for 1 less step. Still hoping.

We just used this last week. We so glad we did because there was a big line for regular check in. The online check in only had two people in line. It was fast and easy.

Does anyone know if you can modify your online reservation at check-in? If we get there on time, I may decide to add a park day on our MYW tickets. Will that be a hassle?

I checked in on line today and there was no option for that.

I used online check this morning....I used the link provided in the email that Disney sent us stating that my "Disney Vacation is almost Here!"

We received an email confirmation of the online check in process shortly after.

Online checking was as easy as can be....I just hope that once we arrive we still feel that way.

I will fax our resort with our requests a few days prior to our trip.
