Online check-in?

So the time has come I leave for WDW in just two days. I check in on Monday at OKW. I have completed the online check-in. This is my first time staying at a Disney hotel. We purchased a dining plan I'm just confused is that now going to be active when I arrive because I did the online check in? The whole thing is confusing. Just need to know, my son's birthday dinner is the day we arrive at Chef Mickey's I didn't plan to go to the resort until after so he can enjoy the Monorail ride in. Thanks for the help again.

Good question. I would think that you would be able to use it, but I would call to ask just to be sure.

yes you can do online check-in and your food plan will be active when you arrive. The idea is to completely skip the check-in desk and either go right to your room or a park. The absolute worst case you would charge the meal to your room and then stop by the desk in your hotel to fix it (take the charge off and use the dining credits) but I have never had to do that.
