Online check-in ?

Our online check in date is coming up on Sunday. We are first time cruisers so we are having to start check in at 75 days out. I know you have to do the online check-in in order to select a PAT. I have noticed several people talking about signing in at midnight to get started. My question is if I want to attempt to get an early PAT do I need to start the process at midnight or could I wait until the morning to start it and still get an early PAT?

I would at your level do it at 00.00 USA Eastern time.

So far windows for booking would have opened at 120,105,90 days and your last and many people like to get on early.

The last section yours, will still have a lot of new cruisers and midnight to morning can make a big difference.

Shore trips palo brunch and PATs will sell out.

My advice is to check in at 00.00 ( not before) and secure the best slow that you can.

Meh. I wake up at 6am anyway and would prefer to do that stuff then instead of staying up. I don't need to lose sleep over a vacation. Sure you can be at the port early and wait to be called on board, or you can show up at 1230 and walk right on. With a kid, we prefer to walk right on.

On our first cruise, I forgot and didn't do our online check-in until something that afternoon (well past midnight ) and had no problem getting the earliest PAT. While I suppose it's possible that the earliest time will fill shortly after midnight, it's also possible there won't be any early slots left for 1st time cruisers. That seems to vary depending on how many return cruisers are booked for your particular sailing, as well as how many people want early arrivals.

Honestly, if you really want to be up at midnight to deal with it then do so; but it may not make much difference one way or another if you wait until morning.
