online check in ?

I have 2 questions...
1. Today is our 10 day from arriving at AKV.. on my dvc website the link was there to check in online but it wouldnt let me.. Is it because we are transfering resorts and it is all under 1 reservation # and when we transfer that is still 13 days out?

2. We already have our hopper passes. if we check in online can we still have the passes transfsered to our Keys to the Kingdom card..??
 
Yes, people with travel plans that include a split stay or a segment for dining purposes (either one) have found that online check in will not work correctly.

I am a little sad about this because I like taking care of it before we leave as well.

I agree, my last visit in May was a trip that had some split reservations. All under the same reservation number, but the first day was added later. I also could not do online check in. I could not do it in January either because my reservations were segmented because of adding the ddp to one day. I leave in a couple of weeks, and assume I won't be able to do it then either. It never really saved me time anyway.
 
When we stayed last month we could not do on line check in. When I talked to Disney tech support they said there was a problem with DVC on line check in that the hope to fix with in the month.
 

I did online checkin for my stay at BLT in June and at OKW this month. I agree with one of the PPs -- problems seem to be when split-stay or DDP.
