Online Check-In ?

Hi everyone,

We are 10 days away from our first ever stay as DVC members . We have the DxDP but since we had them add it to our reservation before the upgrade, we have to pay for it when we check-in. DH and I were thinking of doing online check-in, but wasn't sure if they will immediately take the balance due out since we will have to provide a CC #, or would we have to wait until we get there to pay for the DxDP. It isn't a big deal, we have the money to pay for it now, just need to know if I need to make a quick trip to the bank to deposit the money owed into our account before doing the online check-in, or just not do it at all. Also, as DVC members do you recommend doing the online check in or just wait until we get there. Thanks for all of your help....can you tell we are DVC newbies?

If you added the dining plan prior to 10/14/2010, they will not charge your CC for it prior to your arrival date. We did the QSDP prior to the change over and the cost was actually put on to our room account.

Just did on-line check in for Saturday but could not put room choice in. is this common?

Room choice is not an option for DVC reservations. It's is strictly for cash reservations. If you want to make a request for your villa you need to call MS and have it added to your reservation.
