Online check in room requests

Hi everyone! We have a reservation for POR in September and I have done online check in, but it won't let me do any room requests.....anyone else having this issue? I did phone in a request but I like to have all my bases covered.

Eh the field sometimes works, sometimes doesn't or it shows things that are irrelevant to your specific reservation.

I had terrific luck using the touringplan room request tool last week.

Yes the "if it's a day then ends in Y, this is to be expected"

We actually do not use the online request feature, we found that it overrode the more specific request that we had added to our reservation when we called in to make the reservation.

If you click on "Change Reservation" that will take you to the area that you want which gives you your two preferred options for room location. As long as you don't cancel it outright, you will save any changes made.

I also use touringplans room request. Sometimes we get what we want, sometimes its at least close. Last trip, we actually got the exact room we requested.
I've used the room preference in MDE and it doesn't seem like they pay any attention to it.

They just send a fax for you. You can use a bunch of Touring Plans stuff, including room finder without subscribing if you did not want to. It's a great site.
