Online Check-in question

If we do online check-in will it activate our tickets/meals immediately for the day we are suppose to check-in? Or do I have to actually go to the hotel to complete check-in? We are staying off-site for our first night but want to go to Typhoon Lagoon our first 'Disney' morning.

Hope this question makes sense. Its been a long day lol

If you do online check in, and it works correctly, you should be able to go right to the park with tickets and dining plan activiated.

However, there are many instances where it does not work for some unknown reason, and you have to visit the front desk to use the package tickets and dining plan.

If you get a room ready text (or your MDE shows your room number), you know you are good to go, and can go straight to TL. Sometimes the room number will show in MDE but the text never comes.

If not, you may be ok, but there’s really no way to know for sure except to try it.

If you have a military discount, or a discount of any kind that requires proof you qualify for the rate - Canadian discount comes to mind, you always must check in to get the package activiated.
