Online Check-In Question

We are flying in from Canada, and will have to pick up our Magic Bands, so is there any point to using online check in? My only room request would be a renovated room (which I know isn't guaranteed) or a King bed. Should I still do online check in in hopes of getting one of those two requests. I know a king bed is hard to get, but we aren't going until October so I am hoping more renovated rooms are ready!! Thanks in advance, and sorry for hi-jacking your thread!

As stated above, rooms are assigned prior to your arrival no matter if you do online check in or if you don't do online check in.
If you don't let them know what you'd like prior to arrival you leave the room you get totally up to chance.
Why not let them know that you have requests, at least?

Of course, excellent point. I didn't even think of that, Im having a blonde Friday! I wasn't sure if that would screw up anything, but I can't see what it would. Everything is so different since I have been last, feels like it's the first time again! Thanks AngiTN for the reply! I'm at 60 days today so I am going to do the online check in!!
