Online check-in question....

We can commence online checkin for our trip tomorrow. Question....

Fully understanding there is no guarantee they would be honored, is there any provision within the online check-in system to make any special requests about your resort room or assignment or (stuff like that)?

i always call and have them note it on my reservation. I wanted a certain area at POR and gave them the room number and I was across the courtyard from that room!

you can make a general request from a drop down menu. I asked for near transportation. When we arrived we were near, but not in the best of locations, I asked for another building and got it anyway.

You should always have your requests noted on your reservation from the beginning.
Past that, the online system will have a few things listed to pick from. You can usually pick 2. When we used online check in for CBR a few years ago, we were given the options of ground floor, pack n play, near transportation, and something else. We put down ground floor and pack n play, and got both.
When I checked in for POFQ a few weeks ago, we were given the option of corner room, second floor, ground floor, and near transportation. I chose corner room. I can still "edit" it, so I may add a floor preference at some point.
I was also given the option of "I would like my room ready for early arrival and to prioritize that over other requests."
We'll see what I get when we check in on Saturday.
