Online Check-In Question

Used online check-in at OKW. No problems there. Went to the separate area at the desk set up for this. Got our original request made during reservations with MS. Everything was ready, including villa, at 8AM.

To KAT4DISNEY's point, do you remember if you checked either request on the online form. Out of curiosity, do you remember what the choices were?

Any reports from AKV?

In fairness, it could be that SSR and VWL have corrected the problems there.

Inkmahm, did you happen to look for a sign for on line checkin? I can see them not having someone at that line at 7am but coming out to help if someone goes to such a line.
 
We don't care for first floor. We enjoy having a balcony instead of a patio. We've only had first floor once and I will say it was convenient to not have to head to an elevator.

Just a personal preference. We had requested second floor so I think they came as close as they could without knowing more.

We have the same request. Don't like the first floor, either. I think we'll give online checkin a try.
 
I used online check in twice this week, once for CBR and once for OKW. It was great. My request which we made at originally was in there and was granted.

I will use it again. It really shortened check in time.

Right now there doesn't seem to be a lot of people using it so my line was nonexistant.
However if someone wants something changed with their reservation it is going to take them longer at the counter. If everything is just right, then your check in is very speedy.

The CM offered to move us from Millers Rd where our assigned room is to Turtle Pond, which I could have done (we usually stay at Turtle Pond) but I decided to try a different side of the resort this time. :)

We used online in March at The boardwalk. We did not get any of our requests but relly didnt mind. The problem is there was only one person working and the other parties ahead of us didnt use it and took forever. we were handed our envelope and took about 30 seconds. We dont get excited about requests because they are never guaranteed. Its too bad they cant come up with a system that you can get your package with out waiting in line during slow check in periods.

I agree. If a guest has to wait in the regular line there is minimal improvement to the guest's experience. It will only help the resort.
