Online Check-in complete - Now what?

Hi All,

We are at 57 days out...I did the online check-in yesterday, so we are all good there. Now what??!!

We are staying at POR, and I heard that Magic Bands and FP+ was most likely going to be available by the time we get there (check-in date is 11/14/13), but I don't have access to the MB or FP+ areas, and I do not have physical tickets?

Will the tickets/magic bands (whatever we end up getting) be mailed to my house? I'm not sure how this all works - this is our first time staying on-site with a package.

I am going in October and had linked (or so I thought) our tickets in MDE. I happened to check back and they were no longer linked. After speaking to IT, she said they were linked in my Magic Band account.

Whaaat? What Magic Band account???

Oh! You mean the one that is now active and says I have only 4 days left to choose a color and give the correct address??

Keep checking back. There was no alert, no fairy dust sparkling when I signed in, nothing. If I hadn't called IT asking where my linked tickets were, I doubt I would have known.

Odd, but hopefully not typical.

It is typical, unfortunately. Many DISers have been reporting they received their invite to test MagicBands well after they customized and received theit bands. Seems the notification process is extremely slow and leaves a lot to be desired. I was able to customize our bands over 3 weeks ago, they ship on Friday, and I have yet to receive an invite from Disney.

Thanks! We do not even have physical tickets to link yet - I wonder when those are going to come??!! Or, maybe they won't - if we do get magic bands, then I guess I will know when I see it. But what happens when it is November 1st and I don't have anything yet? I will panic! LOL
