Online check-in and DDP Question

My parents are DVC owners and have made a reservation for us for July. I am approaching my 60 day window for online check-in, but have a couple questsions. We are planning to do the DDP (it works for us) but I am not sure if I can do it during the online check-in process or not? Also, is this something I can do, or does my mom as the DVC owner need to add it and/or check us in?

Only the owner can add the dining plan. It has to be paid for at that time.

You can do online checkin yourself. But the DVC owner has to add the DDP for you and pay. You have until 48 hours before checkin to add DDP.

You can make dining reservation now, actually 180 days before the trip. If you have not, do so ASAP. You may find may locations are already fully booked. Good luck and have a great trip.
