Online check-in affect how early room ready?

We're doing a split stay soon with BCV for 3 nights, then BLT for 4 nights. We can do online check-in now. If we do that for BLT, does that affect how early our room will be ready? If not, then we'll skip it. We plan to get there by 12pm to check in.

On-line check-in does not result in getting room earlier than you otherwise would. Personal experience is I have gotten room before four 50% of time with on-line check-in which is the same record I had before it came into existence.

We just got off a cruise on the 25th, pulled up to BCV at 9:30, and our 2-bedroom was ready!! So psyched! We did on- line check-in. But, I think it just had something to do with our incredibly early arrival.

When BLT check in was at the CR lobby, my experience was check in was quicker when I did the precheck in with OLCI. I have not done check in at the new check in desk at the BLT lobby, yet, so I don't know if OLCI makes any difference with the actual check in process.

In terms of room ready for a 12pm check in, I would probably do the OLCI. I don't know what the room assigners go by, but they do ask arrival/departure times on OLCI.

We fly from the east coast, usually after DH gets off work. So, our arrival times are usually late--like 8 or 9pm. I indicate that on my OLCI. It would seem like they would match me against a room with the previous party with an 11am check out, but I don't know. Seems like it would make sense to match you to a room where someone was checking out early, but then you never know how long it will take for house keeping and how many others might be looking for an early check in, too.

We did online check-in for our split stay and it did not result in an earlier time for either resort VWL or BLT. Mousekeeping did not have the room ready until 3 and 4 respectively. I have done both online and in-person check-in. Really was a toss up with when the room was prepared and not the method of check-in I used.

We've never had a room ready much before 3 pm, which is okay by me since i've been fortunate to receive my requests as to location...likely the reason vs receiving a possible 'ready' room at our arrival which may not meet the request.

The two times I done split stays, I went to the check-in resort between 07:30 - 08:00 and the rooms were ready both times.
One time from OKW to BLT.
One time from AKL to BCV.

I went from BLT to OKW and arrived at OKW with luggage at 9:30am and it was not ready until 3pm...they knew what room, but would only refer to a bldg...and since it met all my requests I said I would wait rather than get a ready room. We had HH 2 bedroom dedicated. Was very happy to wait
