Online booking question

I have only booked my ressies through CRO-does anyone know if the WDW site online booking is through CRO or is it WDTC? The terms said a one night room deposit and that you can get a refund if its 6 days before arrival date. I did not see anything about when it needs to be paid in full (45 days or upon checkin), I will have to look at that too. Thanks for your help!

I think it's WDTC. But I can tell you that you pay the balance on check-in not 45 days in advance. Of course, this does only apply to Room-Only reservations.

That's a good question! Truthfully, I'm a leary about booking it online, so I don't really know. Did you get a confirmation via snail or email that indicates which system it was booked in? I know when you *call* Disney to book a room, the WDTC ressies say "WDTC," & the CRO ressies just say "Disney Reservations."

I also noticed that there is some different info on Disney online ressie website is depending on whether you click on "Book a Package" or "Book a Room." Even the very bottom of the page, where the copywright is different. One says, "WDTC" & the other says "Disney Online" or something like that. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Best of luck!

My understanding is that if you book online they can't apply discounts to your reservation later. I was told that if you book online and want to apply a code later you have to cancel that reservation and book another to apply and discount codes -- of course, how good the information you get from CRO depends on the knowledge of the CM you're talking to!

Tigger Fans! that is a good point! I usually book at rack and then hopefully apply a code to the ressie. I guess I will just call CRO as usual, just to make sure.
