Online booking-Can you change categories?

We are getting ready to try to book Aulani for June of next year at the 7th month window. Looking at the availability tool, some of the dates in the category we want (OV Studio) are already gone and we can't book until a few days.

My question is can you book two different categories online? For instance, say I try to book on Wednesday morning, but the category I want isn't available for the first two days of our trip. Is there any way I can book a different category (ex Pool View) for those two days and then book the rest of the stay in the OV category? If not online, is that possible when calling Member Services? We have never had this type of issue before so I am not sure what to do.

No, that is considered 2 different bookings so you would have to wait 2 more days to book the OV room. Only when booking the exact same size and view of room can you book up to 7 days from the check in date right at 7 or 11 months.
