Online ADRs Thread (Updated FAQ 9/9/9)

When you choose the select date range under where you first choose the date it will only search for 5 days at a time that is why you couldn't see all your dates if you chose the first date as your arrival date.

From the dining reservation system
Date:6/22/2009 - 6/26/2009
*You may search a range of up to 5 days.

Not true. When I select date range starting on 9/20, no other dates are available. It makes both the start and end date 9/20. When I look at the calendar the dates past 9/20 are still shaded....

And it says:
"Your 09/20/2009 - 09/30/2009 Disneys Coronado Springs Resort vacation has been retrieved and will be associated with any dining reservations you make for those dates. "

The plus 10 is not working for my reservation and today is my 90 day mark.....

Sorry if this has already been posted, as i've not been in the forums much recently

I followed the link for online booking but its linking the UK site, soooo I swapped to USA site, & it was all there.......so my question is.....can u only book throught USA site & does it matter if u live in the UK? I woodn't hae thought so, but wanted to check.......slightly off the topic but do u think the world is a lot busier when there is free dining??

Thanks in advance

:goodvibes

I made my original ADR's by phone (online system wasn't running yet). I logged on with my reservation number to make some changes. I made some new reservations. I didn't see my old one so do I need to call to cancel them? TIA

You cannot check reservations made by phone with the online reservation system. You still have them, it's just that the system isn't linked that way. It's up to you to keep track of the reservations.

Ok, so my ADR date is coming up (7/5), what time can you start making online ADR's...I am in Chicago, so CST....please help!!??? Also, with 7/5 being a Sunday and holiday weekend, can I actually do it that day?

Thanks!!!

I freaked out when I didn't see mine on there before on line adr's. I called to make sure mine were good and she said yes. So I asked her why I couldn't see them and she said I have no clue why . :confused3

We seem to be able to book ADRs at 90 days out from the UK but as yet we don't have anyone able to unlock the 90 + 10 even with a 12 digit US confirmation number.

There is an ongoing thread on the UK trip planning forum with a few updates - I'm hoping I'm out of date and it's working for everyone now!!!! :rolleyes1

From everything I have been told and have read, 7AM EDT is when you can start calling. Most people tend to call a few minutes before 7 and if they here the recording "our hours are" type of thing they hang up and keep calling until they are put on hold for the next available agent. This way you are one of the first in the morning.

Last tiime I went in 2007 it was priority seating and my sister called and made all of ours except for CRT. Also, it was 180 days out then and only on site guest could call that early.

I am editing this because something weird happen. When I first pulled up this post, it said 0 responses. After I typed up my response, 86 pages appeared! What is up with that?

Is it a DVC booking? Unfortuantely, DVC's +10 is still not working.

Try again....last attempt failed.

I logged on and I can't "unlock" the "+10", but I'm still chalking it up to the fact that my 1st adr can't be made until my day 90, which is Saturday.

Also, my September calendar (when it brings it up in dining) only goes until 9-20.

Online it's 6:01 am EST (so since we're one hour behind in CST, it'll be 5:01 for us)

No worries, I post this about once a day, and now seems like a good time to post it for today....:)

Just a heads up if anyone is wondering what happened to their thread.

As stated in the first post, due to the sheer number of questions and amount of information flying around about Online ADR's, we're going to try to keep all of the questions and answers limited to this thread for a while.

For newbies to this thread, there is a FAQ in the first post of this thread. The moderators are trying to keep up with all of the questions and answers in this thread and update the FAQ as we find out new information and discover new Frequently Asked Questions.

Thanks for understanding! It's an exciting time, but challenging only because it's all so new to everyone. :goodvibes

I'm wondering if someone can help me. A co-worker of mine is going to Disney the same time we are but booked the trip herself instead of with a TA so she was able to use the online system. She was able to make her ADR's this morning. She made the most important ones first, checked out, checked her e-mail confirmation then went back to make the others that were more flexible. She didn't write down her confirmation numbers the 2nd time since she assumed it would be in her e-mail like the first set were but she never received an e-mail for the 2nd batch. She went into her "My Disney Vacation" section under dining reservations to see if they were there and they aren't. Anyone know how she can retrieve them since she didn't write down the confirmation numbers?

No it is a reservation at Coronado Springs using cash.

There have been more complaints about this happening. One suggestion, that has worked for some, is to call CRO and find out which phone number is attached with that reservation. It's possible that field is blank or wrong.

Barring that as the reason, if you have the patience and time for it, I'd call CRO to let them know about your issue. These glitches will be fixed faster if we all report the issues that we're having. The sooner that IT is aware that there is an issue, the sooner that they can get it fixed for all.

I also have a friend that is arriving on the same day. She got the same results. Although it finds her reservation (9/20-9/30), the latest day that is selectable (including date range) is 9/20.

Has anyone gotten this to work when trying it on their 90 day mark??

If I were her, I'd call 407-WDW-DINE to verify that they are there. It sounds to me like her reservations don't exist. It's possible that the computer 'ate' them for her.

The dining line would be able to pull them from her phone number, reservation number, or name.

Under the "My Disney Vacation" menu at the top right, there should be a "Dining Reservations" link. From there you should be able to enter the dining confirmation number and associated phone number to retrieve any of your dining reservations.

"Celebrations"

When looking up your ressies online you have the option to add a celebration, which I did but then when u look it back up the celebration is no longer there and u have the option to again, add a celebration.

does this mean it didnt go threw?

Here's my experience the morning, got up at 5:45  logged on at 6:00 on the dot, entered my resort res, and no +10  so I waited a minute, reloaded the page and voila! there they were! I could only book for the days of my vacation 9/20 - 9/25, not the full +10. After that it went smoothly, got everything I wanted at pretty much the time I wanted with one BIG exception...Le Cellier...nothing for lunch or dinner on 9/21, got Chefs de France instead. Oh well, got Le Cellier last year. So here's how my ADR's look:

9/21 Chefs de France @ 6:50 pm
9/22 Sci-Fi @ 7:15pm
9/23 Kona Cafe @ 10:15 am
9/24 Tony's Town Square @ 7:00pm
9/25 Yak and Yeti @ 1:30

Got my confirmation email right away and the only concerning thing is that I can't pull up my reservations online. I'm not too worried cause I have my confirmation numbers, still I would like to be able to pull them up online in case I want to change them at a later point.

All in all, :thumbsup2:thumbsup2 It would be nice to be able to search a greater time range for a certain date (it got real old checking availability every in 15 minutes for Le Cellier, I felt like I was wasting time while other people were making ADR's) I was done my 6:25 and back in bed by 6:30.
