Online ADR simplicity..

Just a note to anyone thinking about using the WDW online ADR booking system. I logged in exactly 180 days in advance at 5:00 am (CST), input my resort reservation confirmation # (DVC), and it allowed me 180+10. All ADR's were made extremely painlessly without the nightmare and wasting of time on the phone. It took me 15 minutes for 6 ADR's. It seems as if Disney finally got it right with one of their internet sites.

p.s. you can not book a Fantasmic! DP online. You must call the 1800WDWdine.

As I just did as well. Every reservation was at exactly the time I wanted and only one deviated by 5 minutes.

Disney Online was pretty painless if you know what your doing.

That's awesome to hear. I need to make our Adr's this Friday. What time does the system open up? We are in PA so it's Eastern time. Does the phone system and the online adr open at the same time?

The online starts at 6:00am Eastern. The phones if you need to call start at 7:00am I believe.

On other threads people have been talking about getting up at 3 am EST. (and that the online was open at 3 am) Do you all think that's just because it was the beginning of online reservations? We don't make ours until the end of March, (for sept) but if I don't have to get up at 3 am, that would be GREAT !! (getting up at 3am to make dining reservations for 6 months in advance just seems so odd to me)

The online starts at 6:00am Eastern. The phones if you need to call start at 7:00am I believe.

Awesome! TY! I have to call for one of our ADR's. The rest I'm hoping will be open online!

May have to set my alarm tonight and go online at 3am to see if it is open. I don't mind too much as long as I can go back to sleep. I got up at 330am for black friday and wasn't able to go back to sleep until 11pm that night.

Will you let us know if you can get on at 3 ? (if you wind up doing that) I'm curious if it's all up and running. you're right though, if you can get through all the ADR's and then go back to sleep then it's not so bad.

I got up at 3:00 AM PST this morning to make our ADR's which would make it 6:00 AM EST. I was actually logged in at 2:45 AM but the system did not change until 3:00 AM.

This process was so easy compared to last year. We got our first choice time for every ADR and we booked 16 of them so far. We have to go back on for the last couple of days (we are staying 2 weeks).

This was so much easier than last year.

I set my alarm and woke up at 3am EST. The online system was not open for June 8th. I checked again at 640am and it was open. So it must be at 6am EST and the people who were mentioning 3am must be on the west coast - PST.

I too did the dreaded 3am PST wake up then was back asleep by 3:45.
