I am so glad for W.I.SH.
This time last year is when I decided to lose some weight and start exercising. I did not have a real plan, I started cutting back on my portions and started walking in the evenings. My first goal was just to lose 20 pounds by my September WDW trip (I made that goal). I did not join the W.I.S.H until October, but lurked for quite a while.
So far, have lost a total of 56 pounds, I have gone from a dress size 24W to a 16W, shorts and tops were 3x and are now XL.
I can take nice brisk walks with no problems, and I have even stared to add some jogging in with my walking and I really feel great.
I had hoped to have lost about 70 pounds by now as my goal was 5 to 6 pounds a month. Lately though I have only been losing 2 or 3, but thanks to this board I have not gotten discouraged, I know I can keep losing.
