Here are the latest pictures. Getting the second story walls to fit together took most of the day. Hopefully the rest will fly by. There is one week to go!!!

That is absolutely amazing. Thank you for sharing.

I love your Maids-a-Milking barn! Very clever idea to use a milk bottle as the silo. I can't wait to see your finished pictures.

OH! It's so fabulous! The Glasswork is so nice! GOOD LUCK and keep posting the photos!

Thanks!

The glass is actually the easiest part! It is sheet gelatin, available from numerous baking supply websites. It looks just like glass. For my church, which you haven't seen yet, I actually colored it to look like stained glass.

Outstanding! But where are the light green walls with the crisscross pattern? I *loved* those!!!! Are they, by chance, in the room with the dancers? Can't see the walls in that particular photo.

First floor, lower right corner. I will post all the pictures together in a separate album when it is all finished.

Thanks MsDisney23, I would LOVE to win.....however.....

I am entered in the National Competition at the Grove Park Inn in Asheville NC. This is the competition that has been featured on both the Food Network and Good Morning America. The level of competition is incredibly high. This competition is the Super Bowl of Gingerbread, and this is only the second gingerbread house I have ever made.

I AM hoping to be in the top 10, or at the least have my piece displayed on the main floor of the hotel. They generally put the top 10 there and a few other pieces as well. This is my goal this year.

Looks wonderful. What are you using for the "rocks"?? I know when I used to decorate cakes at Publix we had theses jelly bean type candies that looked like rocks..was wondering if that is what you used.

I'm in awe - I can't wait to see the completed album of pics! I'd vote for you in a second.

Linda, again, these are absolutely INCREDIBLE!!! :worship: :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :woohoo:

Once this competition is over with and you get to relax & take a breath, DO think about possibly doing this as more than a hobby. Even if you only do a house now and again for money, it could definitely buy more supplies for more playing. :woohoo: You have a definite gift with gingerbread. ::yes::

Thanks everyone, the compliments and support mean so much.

Mumm4Jenn....my rocks are chocolate, but I do have some of the jelly bean ones as well. They are larger and I will probably use them for ground color and filler.

Imazdi......thank you. I have done a few cakes as well as my gingerbread, and am gradually starting to have people ask me to do cakes. I am doing one for my parents 50th....doing our family in sugar and the camper that we traveled in as kids is the cake.

I will definitely post more pictures as the piece comes together.
