One way, one person Swan to MCO?

A friend and I will be in WDW next week, staying at the Swan. I have plans for round-trip transportation with Florida Tours (love them!!), but my friend will be leaving 2 days before I do, so she'll need transportation from the Swan to MCO. Is Mears the best way to go for one person, one way? If not, what would you recommend? I'd say cost and reliability would be the highest priorities.

Hate to say it since they aren't exactly my favorite...but I think Mears is the best option here....they are reliable and for 1 person I really think they are the most economical. Everything else would be significantly more expensive.

Thanks! I really would prefer not to have her use Mears either...but in this situation I figured it would be the best option.

Do you have use for a car for a day? This March we spent 8 days at Swan but mom had to go home mid-week, so I rented a car @ Dolphin at 3:30 the day before, took her to MCO next morning, dropped my son and his girlfriend off at Uni/IOA with hopper passes we had from a previous trip and made a grocery stop, all for about $45. What's the difference between that and a Mears one-way, with lots of stops? For a few $$ more your friend leaves for MCO no sooner than necessary and you've got wheels for 24 hrs.

Bill, that's a great idea! I knew you could rent cars right there at the Dolphin, but I hadn't even thought of that. And yes, I can think of tons of things I could do with the car for the rest of that day. Plus, my friend wouldn't have to spend all that time on the Mears shuttle.
